I am unable to accept that our elected Australian government had taken it upon themselves to approve of the AUKUS Alliance Agreement, as it serves the US more than it does Australia.

Compared to print resources - filed away in libraries, etc, digital information is so easily "tweaked" as in this example - to suddenly exclude important facts - subtly changing the meaning of the whole story. I don't know how this kind of distortion of the truth can be beaten, but I see it as a very real peril.
